Season 6, which started on the 4th of March and was supposed to end yesterday with the reveal of Season 7. Unfortunately, Activision has announced that season 7 has been delayed indefinitely. According to a tweet from the official Call of Duty account, the delay is due to the tensions that happened after the tragic death of George Floyd. The season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare has also been delayed indefinitely. CoD believes, “It is time for those speaking up for equality, justice, and change to be seen and heard.”

Yesterday we reported that PlayStation has also delayed its PS5 reveal event (previously scheduled for this Thursday) due to the same reason. Many other developers are following the suit to show solidarity with the protests.
