Many buyers and even distributors have been waiting for their “Big Navi” graphics card to be delivered. However, the general consensus has been quite disappointing. AMD has clearly fallen way short of delivery commitments.  Now, a distributor has revealed the rather concerning extent to which AMD has failed to keep up with the manufacturing and distribution of the latest AMD Radeon 6000 GPUs. Moreover, with the AMD Radeon 6000 Series of graphics cards supposedly greater at crypto-mining than even the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, the future doesn’t look too bright either.

Online Retailer Proshop Reveals The True Rate Of Delivery Of AMD Radeon 6000 Series of Graphics Cards:

After experiencing disappointing delays with the latest Ampere-based NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 Series of graphics cards, buyers had to wait long for the ZEN 3-based AMD Ryzen 5000 series of processors. The wait for the AMD Radeon 6000 Series of graphics cards could be worse if not equally bad, indicated online retailer Proshop. Regardless of whether reference or custom design, the Radeon RX 6800 XT and 6800 with Navi-21 GPU based on the new RDNA-2 architecture are sold out. Even if a retailer claims to have stocks, they are actually only available in extremely small quantities. Needless to add, such a stock commands a way higher selling price than the manufacturer’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP). Danish dealer Proshop, has again given detailed information about its delivery situation for the AMD Radeon 6000 Series of graphics cards: Statistically, the delivery situation of the AMD Radeon RX 6800 series seems to be even bleaker than with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 series. Incidentally, Proshop claims it hasn’t received even the reference models from some manufacturers. The gravity of the situation can be judged from the fact that Asus, Gigabyte and MSI have not even put a price tag on some of their models.
