Cinebench R23
Starting off, we have Cinebench R23 where the Ryzen 7000 family shines. AMD provided all reviewers with a specific ‘kit’ packed with an unnamed X670E motherboard, 2x16GB of G.Skill DDR5-6000 memory. For comparison purposes, the testing also included the Ryzen 5000 CPUs featuring DDR4-3200 memory. To put that into perspective, we compiled a few charts to show the generational leap Zen4 offers. The 7950X is a massive 42% faster than last-gen. (Blue = Zen4 | Orange = Zen3) Single-core wise, we see one of the largest performance gains offered by AMD. Team red is promising a massive jump in performance across every CPU from the Ryzen 7000 lineup. The single-core metrics are comparable to Intel’s top-notch CPUs.
Cinebench R20
In Cinebench R20, we see similar results with Zen4 crushing Zen3 in all ways possible. Here the 7950X beats the 5950X by almost 45% in the multi core test. Across the board, Zen4 maintains its lead consistently.
Cinebench R15
In Cinebench R15, the 7950X has a lead of 13% over its predecessor single-core wise. Zen4 is indeed a haven for gamers as well as content creators. Even at the same core/thread count, it manages to be on average 40–45% faster than last-gen consistently.
Conclusion
