Next level stuff. — Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser) October 12, 2020 Now, this is some interesting stuff all together. Firstly, both the devices would be used together as UWB base-stations. What this would do is track your location with the U1 supported devices. When you have the whole package, a smart strategy by Apple to get people in their Ecosystem. With this new form of integration, you can be aware of where your devices in the house are, a real plus for the Find My app. Not to mention, some smart controls, according to where you are can be implemented. Say you walk inside a room and your phone is with you. The lights would automatically turn on. These self-learning features would actually make the experience quite intuitive. Finally, according to Jon, we would actually find many AR applications and capabilities in your Find My app as well. This also reminds us about the noise detection feature in the iOS which detects the sound of a baby crying or door being knocked. This can perhaps be integrated into the new Apple TV and HomePod Mini combo as well. Apple may be looking for a revolutionary upgrade and we may see good changes coming our way.
