The Solution?
A problem with the punch-hole is that while it is quite small, it is still there and media consumption is disrupted. The moving module for the pop-up camera makes it susceptible to actually being damaged. Therefore, an under the display camera module is the solution. Speaking of which, a tweet from Ice Universe shows something interesting.

While the entire promo is in Chinese, it shows the technology being used (somewhat). There is a new array which may allow the individual pixel modules to move around to give the camera module space to see from the clear glass. Now, we do not know how accurate this would be to the final product but this is it. Perhaps we’d see the technology being applied to new products soon. We can assume that manufacturers like OPPO may take the leap first as companies like Samsung and especially Apple wait to see the response and how well these work out.
