All of that said, this latest mishap from Denuvo seemed to have rocked quite a few of those publishers, as Electronic Arts has now removed the DRM from their single-player title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The report comes from DSO Gaming, and it appears that players on PC can now enjoy Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order without the intrusive digital rights management software. However, what’s even more interesting is the fact that the Denuvo outage may not have been the full catalyst for this move from Electronic Arts. Intel’s new Alder Lake chips have been known to have numerous compatibility issues with games running Denuvo, with more than thirty titles in total being affected. One of the most prominent ones, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, still has Denuvo DRM, which means that gamers who have the new chips will most likely not be able to play it until such a time that Ubisoft either removes it or does something about these issues. You can check out the full list of affected games below, as noted on Intel’s website: The games listed below are known to be impacted by the Digital Rights Management (DRM) software issue with Windows 11*. The games listed in bold are expected to be patched sometime in mid-November with the upcoming Windows 11 update. We are working with developers to resolve issues with the rest of the games listed. In the meantime, the Scroll Lock workaround can be used. This list will be updated as patches are released.
