In an interview with PAX Online x EGX Digital. Marty Stratton said that ID Software and Panic Button are trying to make the best version of the game. He further stated that the game would have been released earlier. However, it is taking longer because of COVID-19 and work from home nature. “It’s very close, and we’re trying to be very uncompromising with what it needs to be because there’s a high demand for it.” he said “We will be talking about it again in the not too distant future. It is close, but I can’t say exactly how close.”
