There are a few solutions to this problem which was quite infamous for some time and it appears that the error has something to do with the new Beta site Twitch released which was reportedly full of bugs. It appears that adding “live” to the end of the link of the stream you are trying to view fixes the problem easily. The only problem is that you will need to do that often. The best way is to use this method on the “following” section and bookmark this for future reference.
