What Causes the “Network Not Responding” Error in Warframe?
After receiving several user reports we investigated the error to devise a set of solutions that you can implement in order to get rid of this error. Also, we looked into the reasons due to which this error is triggered and some of the most common ones are listed below. Now that you have a basic understanding of the nature of the problem we will move on towards the solutions. It is recommended that you implement these solutions in the specific order that they are provided in.
Solution 1: Restarting the Internet Router
Sometimes the internet Router settings might be using the wrong DNS settings. Therefore, in this step, we will be completely power-cycling the internet router to make sure that is not the case. If this step does not solve the issue don’t worry as it is the most basic troubleshooting step in solving the problem. Move on towards the next solution.
Solution 2: Flushing the DNS
In some cases, the DNS cache might be corrupted and causing the issue. The DNS is used by the computer to translate names into IP addresses. Therefore, in this step, we are going to be completely refreshing the DNS by deleting its cache
Solution 3: Using an Ethernet Connection
In some cases, the internet connection of the user was facing packet loss and high pings due to which connecting to the servers might be an issue. Therefore, it is always a good idea to use an ethernet connection over a wireless one to remove any packet loss. Try to use an ethernet connection and check to see if the problem persists.
Solution 4: Granting Access in Firewall.
Sometimes, the windows firewall blocks the game from making contact with its servers due to a false alarm that the game is a virus. This is a common cause of the error and can be fixed easily. To do so: Note: The game developers in order to maintain the servers sometimes have to take them down due to which users face connectivity issues. This can easily be checked from the developer’s social media handle as most developers update the users before doing so. Therefore, make sure that is not the case before trying out these solutions. If everything is working fine, you can try to use a VPN in order to connect to the game. You can also try to disconnect from the VPN once you are in-game and everything is working stably in order to reduce latency.
