What Causes the “Wireless Charging Paused” Error?
After receiving numerous reports from multiple users we decided to investigate the issue and devised a set of solutions which eradicated the problem for most of our users. Also, we looked into the reasons due to which this error was being triggered and listed them below. Now that you have a basic understanding of the nature of the problem we will move on towards the solutions. Make sure to implement these solutions in the specific order in which they are provided to avoid any conflicts.
Solution 1: Checking the Charger
As the most basic troubleshooting step, we recommend you to check to see if the charger is connected properly. Also, connect the charger to another phone or the phone to another charger and check to see if the charging process is initiated. If the charger works fine with other devices proceed with the solutions below
Solution 2: Turning on Fast Wireless Charging Option
It is possible that certain features of the Wireless charging option might be limited if the Fast Wireless Charging option is not enabled in the settings. Therefore, in this step, we will be turning on the “Fast Wireless Charging” Feature” in the settings. For that:
Solution 3: Updating PlayStore Applications
If certain third-party applications are not updated to the latest versions they might interfere with important elements of the device and cause conflicts with certain features. Therefore, in this step, we will be checking and updating all third-party applications.
Solution 4: Updating Galaxy Apps
Samsung ships it’s mobile phones with some preinstalled applications that are necessary for certain features that they provide. They can cause conflicts within the system if not updated to the latest versions. Therefore, in this step, we will be updating the Samsung Applications. For that:
Solution 5: Checking for Software Updates
Software Updates often provide many bug fixes and if important software updates have not been installed on the device many bugs might go unpatched. Therefore, in this step, we will be checking to see if any Software updates are available. For that:
Solution 6: Wiping Cache Partition
If the cache is corrupted it can cause many issues with important elements of System applications and features. Therefore, in this step, we will be deleting the cache through Recovery Mode. For that:
