According to the latest rumor, Samsung will use a 5,000 mAh battery for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The good news is that this battery should potentially perform better because of a stronger chipset, which would be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. With the Galaxy S22 series this year, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 became available in a lot more areas. Next year, this will only grow as more and more smartphones are likely to use a Qualcomm processor rather than a Samsung Exynos one. Later this year, the new chip will be available, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra will use the following year. The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is unknown for certain, although reports say that it will contain one Cortex X-3, two Cortex-A720, two Cortex-A710, and three Cortex-A510 processors. The Adreno 740 GPU will support the CPU. Additionally, we’ve heard that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be produced using a 4nm technology by TSMC. The Galaxy S23 lineup will include the standard model, Plus variant, and an Ultra variant, as would be expected. It is fair to assume that, as in previous years, each of these will employ the same chipset.
