The updated Play Store logo is intended to more accurately capture the “magic of Google” and to coordinate with the branding of many of our useful products, including Search, Assistant, Photos, Gmail, and others. For those who are curious, the new logo was leaked before launch, although it is not yet live on play.google.com or other Android applications. The four portions of the triangle are better spaced, but the triangle has more rounded edges. To begin with, the colors of blue, red, yellow, and green have been altered and also have subdued tones. In addition, Google is offering its 100 million Play Points users “10x points on anything they spend by activating a points booster” as a thank-you for their loyalty over the last ten years. You may go to Play Points and start earning 10x for 24 hours by clicking the link or by tapping your profile image in the Google Play app. Additionally, the Play Store established a method for using points to pay for both in-app purchases and programs. Users may also utilize their points to receive discounts in the meantime.
