Recently though, according to an article on 9to5Google, the company has developed a new revamped version of the feed.

Snapshot Feed from Google

As the name suggests, Google is calling this new look of the Google assistant and its cards, the Snapshot. Just like its predecessor, the Snapshot would display weather updates, upcoming appointments and so on. The look is changed though and Google has decided to add chronological ordering to these cards. There are three main segments to the Snapshot. These are, Today, Now, and (Later…). Starting with “the Today”, this shows the ongoing things like upcoming events, the weather and any related bookings. Scrolling through, you only see a brief version of these. Upon clicking into the section, you can view further details about these events, even hourly updates about the weather. The Now section shows your current tasks. This is integrated with media apps in particular. Say, you were listening to some music track or watching some video or some podcast, the Now section would show you these and have the option to resume. Lastly, the next month or later this week’s option shows any upcoming events for the near future. This is quite useful to have any future appointments in mind. Google always goes for things that are useful and have massive functionality. The best part about this update is that Google is rolling it out widely to users all over. For iOS specifically, the update is made available today with the revamped look.
