The file explorer’s default homepage on Windows is now renamed to home, from Quick Access. The Quick Access moniker is used in a new section for pinned/frequent folder in Windows. These recent and pinned files are now also searchable with the search box, even if they are non-local files. There’s also a new addition to Windows Snap assist, where the layouts are now numbered and can also be quickly applied using the number keys.  The pen menu on Windows 11 is a quick way to access frequently used applications. After the recent insider build, Microsoft journal will now be pinned by default there. In case the application is not installed, users can now do so right from the pen menu using the Microsoft Store. The insider preview build also brings the option of using 5-minute increments in the Focus assist timer in Windows.  Windows uses memory integrity as a virtualization based security tool to prevent exploits of the Windows kernel. With Windows 11, the feature is turned on by default for compatible systems. After the recent insider preview build, users will now be notified by Windows if the feature is turned off. You can find the memory integrity option in Windows Security under Device Security > Core isolation. The ADLaM script is used to write the Fulani language, and now the Windows ADLaM keyboard layout is being updated to include access to brackets.
